Manish Kuzhivelil

Manish Kuzhivelil serves as the Secretary of the Perumbranad History Study Committee, which functions under the Kerala Centre for Local History and Heritage Studies. He leads and coordinates study trips, seminars, historical investigations, heritage tours, and public awareness programmes organised to spread historical consciousness in society and to protect local heritage.

He is also an active participant in various investigations related to local history, cultural heritage, and archaeological studies. Through initiatives that connect history and heritage with the wider public, he has carried out notable work to build historical awareness among the younger generation and to spread the importance of heritage conservation.

After completing a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, he worked as a Sales Coordinator in Dubai, UAE, for close to a decade. Through his years abroad he gained valuable experience in management, coordination, and public relations, before returning home to become more actively involved in social work.

He currently also serves as the Area Joint Secretary of an expatriate welfare organisation working for the welfare and social upliftment of the diaspora. Bringing together history, heritage, and social service, he continues to work across these areas with the goal of strengthening grassroots public engagement.
